Wednesday It's a Boy! - Mia and Joseph

As I might have told you, I love taking pictures! And I use any excuse to get my camera out and shoot some pictures. A couple of weeks ago I got to shoot some amazing photos of my friend Mia and her husband Joseph. They are having a baby boy in early March! I am so excited for them! They are going to be great parents! I remember the day we took these pictures was freezing cold, but we had so much fun! This was my first pregnancy session and it was so amazing! I can't wait to meet her baby boy and take some pictures of the little one as well. Last Saturday, I hosted Mia's baby shower and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. As promised more pictures of the baby shower to come. For now enjoy these cute pictures of the beautiful mommy-to-be!

PS: If you live around Provo, Utah area and want some pictures taken let me know!

Christmas Pictures 2013

As you have probably noticed by now, I love taking pictures. Any excuse to take some pictures is a good excuse for me. Since I bought my new Canon Camera, I have been taking a lot more pictures and have been trying to capture beautiful memories. These are some of the pictures we used for our Christmas cards. I had such a hard time deciding on which ones to choose, but let's just say that the ones I ended up using are among these pictures I decided to share with you! They turned out so pretty and I didn't have to pay anything thanks to Walgreens' promotion that was going on.
That same day, I took some more family pictures for some of my friends! It was such a great time!

Tuesday The Royal Scarf

When I saw this scarf for the first time, I immediately fell in love with it and thought of all the possible ways I could wear this silk scarf. It definitely adds so much glam to any outfit! This time I chose to wear all black and add a tough of color through this fabulous scarf. Do you have any accessory that you absolutely love it? Mine is this "royal" scarf.

Do you remember the Tuesday Trend Spin Link Up I did last week with the Gold Dress? I was happy to find out that I am featured as one of Laura's and Erin's favorite!

What She Wears Link Up - The Gold 50's Style Dress

Since the holidays are coming, I just felt like wearing my favorite party dress. I love gold especially on evening dresses! So I own several gold evening/party dresses. My mother made this dress for my wedding, and this is one of the three dresses I wore during my reception. Oh, it brings back such great memories! I love it! It is so flattering and it makes me feel like a princess. I don't get to wear it very often except for special occasions, but every time I put it on{I get a lot of compliments} and I don't want to take it off! I was in the USA when my mom was making this dress for me in Albania, and she did such a great job! I had shared with her over Skype few details how I wanted it and when I got home, it was all ready and fitted me perfectly! It was such a great surprise!

Sunday Discover Albania - Part I

This post is dedicated to my home country, Albania. Since being in USA, the most frequent question I get asked is: "Where are you from?" And after I say: "I am from Albania", the most frequent reaction I get is: "Oh that is awesome!" followed by "Where exactly is Albania?" "How is it like there?

So, I am going to spare you from reading the facts that you can find in Wikipedia or other sites! I am going to describe Albania the way I see it, through my eyes!
I was back home this past summer and it was so great to be surrounded by friends and family and to walk again the crowded streets of Tirana. There are many things that I love and miss about my country so I am gonna try to mention few of them in a series of posts.

I love the Albanian nature

Albania, located in the heart of Balkan, is not very explored by foreign tourists yet. But all the lucky ones that  get to visit Albania, have such a great time discovering the incredible nature that Albania has been blessed with. If you love beaches, we have plenty of them, sandy and rocky ones! If you love mountains, we have plenty of those too. My husband and I took a trip to the south of Albania this past summer and we absolutely loved it. The scenery was SO beautiful! While driving through the small villages and the pretty beaches, I couldn't help it, but think that God painted his masterpiece when he created Albania!
Because I really love my readers, I am going to share with you some pictures I captured this past summer, but you should have been there to thoroughly experience it like we did!
