Friday Good as Gold

Ok so I am pretty sure you all know by now that I love gold color and if I could have hints of gold in all my clothes I wouldn't mind a bit. So I am in love with this outfit for so many reasons.

 Let me start first with my love for this skirt. It is totally my style and the fabric has just enough embroidered details to make this not just an ordinary white skirt. So funny story about this skirt. I bought it just about a week ago on sale at H&M for only $15 and originally it was $50. I can't tell you how happy I was when I found it on the sale rack. I almost couldn't believe it, because I'd been eyeing it for quite some time, but I didn't want to spent $50 on a skirt. And on top of that this was the only one left in the entire store. That day Aria was being particularly fussy, and so I didn't want to have a screaming baby in the fitting room so I didn't even try it on. I thought: "If it's too big, I'll tuck it in myself. If it's too small, I'll just hang it on my closet till it fits me hahaha." Well, I guess the universe wanted me to have this skirt because not only it fits perfectly, but I also found out it has pockets. So extra love points for this skirt.  

Secondly, I love this outfit because of all the gold details; the gold hinted top, the gold clutch, the gold sandals, the gold watch & earings, and the gold sunglasses. Can't get better than that!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great week so far. During this past week, I have been doing all sorts of things, except what I should be doing: studying. And the "so loved" finals are starting next week. Well I have spent most of my time daydreaming and planning my graduation day and few post-graduation fun trips etc. I can't believe that exactly two weeks from now I will be walking at my graduation ceremony! It's safe to say that I have been looking forward to this day for a very long time; maybe since the school started?! Anyways, I am really excited that I am finally going to close this chapter of my life and start a new one. I have definitely learned and grown a lot these past three and half years and have made some great memories.

To escape homeworks even more, yesterday I decided to go to Provo Fashion Week and I had such a great time! The show was great and the collections were even better. Every designer had very unique style. Some designers had a very high couture and sophisticated style and others had a very modern and avant garde one. At first I didn't know what to wear. I wanted to wear something that would fit the occasion, something fashionable that would make me stand out and I immediately thought of this little gold dress. This is another of my mom's collection and I absolutely love it. I also had the perfect little, gold accessories to go with it  such as this golden link bracelet from Loopsway. Isn't it so lovely. I have been looking for a link bracelet like this one for a while and finally I have it. I will definitely wear this very often because it goes well with different outfits. It's a must have piece of jewelry.

Also the material hugs your body perfectly! I decided to wear it with a dark blue button up shirt so the colors of the skirt would stand out. I thought it was a nice little match! What do you think?

Tuesday Lace and Gold

Have I told you that I love lace? Well, lace is one of my favorite fabrics. I think it's so feminine and delicate. It's perfect for evening wear and special occasions. This is an outfit I wore on a date recently. I love to dress up when I go on dates with my husband. Since we are both studying Finance, I get to be in the same classes with him. And so he sees me mostly in jeans, sweaters and flats. So I love to dress up whenever we go out. I make him dress up a little too. Why not, right?

What She Wears Link Up - The Gold 50's Style Dress

Since the holidays are coming, I just felt like wearing my favorite party dress. I love gold especially on evening dresses! So I own several gold evening/party dresses. My mother made this dress for my wedding, and this is one of the three dresses I wore during my reception. Oh, it brings back such great memories! I love it! It is so flattering and it makes me feel like a princess. I don't get to wear it very often except for special occasions, but every time I put it on{I get a lot of compliments} and I don't want to take it off! I was in the USA when my mom was making this dress for me in Albania, and she did such a great job! I had shared with her over Skype few details how I wanted it and when I got home, it was all ready and fitted me perfectly! It was such a great surprise!
