Wednesday Maxi Dress and Fishtail Braid

As you have probably noticed I have turned to more comfy clothes lately. Pregnancy is all about wearing comfortable clothes and I am taking full advantage of that. That being said, I don't want to compromise my style. So, accessories such as a pair of earrings, a hat, and a fun fishtail braid have come to the rescue and have completed this simple and effortless look.

I would love to hear from you what are your go to accessories to spice up a plain outfit?

Let me know !

Tuesday Neon Skater Skirt

Can I just say that every tie I wear skater skirts I feel like a little girl? It's probably because skater skirts make me want to stretch out my arms and spin over and over like I used to do when I was a little girl. And of course I can do this easier if I am wearing a pair of tennis shoes. So to bring back memories from my childhood, I decided to wear this neon skater skirt with a pair of comfy tennis shoes.
What do you think? How would you style a skater skirt?

Sunday Summer vs Fall

Summer is almost over and I can't put away my floral dresses just yet. With Fall just around the corner, I wanted to wear my floral summer dresses just one more time. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to the new Fall fashion and all the layers, but I know that soon enough I will feel nostalgic of the Summer colors and trends. It always happens to me. I guess it's the human nature that wants or misses what we currently don't have.

So, the story behind this dress is that I bought it last year when I was visiting my family in Albania. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it because of the lace and floral combo and I couldn't say no. But unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to wear it last year since by the time I got back to US, it was too cold to wear it. So this dress made it's official appearance this summer :)

What are your thoughts on the summer dresses? Are you going to miss them or are you too excited about Fall trends?

Monday Introducing Elle sera Belle

Hello everyone,
I am finally back! As some of you might have noticed, I took a break from the blogging scene for a while. It's been 3 months since my last post and time has truly gone by so fast. I can't believe we are already in August! Well, I decided it was about time to come back. I missed sharing my thoughts with you all, but I needed some time to create a better vision of this blog and to reflect on what it really means to me. And I think being away from it for a while helped me redefine my vision. First of all, as you can see my blog has a totally new face and name now.  Our love in Bloom has grown to be Elle sera Belle. I put so much love and dedication to choosing this new name and also designing the layout, so I hope you like it. When I first started this blog under the name Our love in Bloom, it was more a personal journal of my life. And then I realized that I was posting more about fashion and style so this new blog is going to be my canvas where I can write about things I love and am passionate about such as fashion, decoration, photography, recipes, DIY projects etc. I have very exciting things planned for the future. Thank you so much for all of those who have supported and encouraged me to continue this journey.  I hope you enjoy it!

Wednesday Black and White Peplum Suit Featuring Golden Mimosas

So I remember telling you how my mom makes/designs wonderful clothes. Well here is another prove to her great talent. I am so excited to tell you that she just launched her first online store, Golden Mimosas. I will be collaborating with her even more and you will see several of my outfits being from Golden Mimosas! So check out this store of her new clothes line.

Let's talk about this adorable suit now! Last year I was having a lot of job/internship interviews and of course I wanted to look professional but all the suits in the market were so dull! I couldn't find a suit that would make me excited to wear! As I was talking to my mom about this, she showed me this fabric and told me she had something in mind that I would love. I totally trusted her and let her work her magic. When the suit was ready, she sent it to me and I absolutely loved it. It was exactly how I wanted it. It looked professional, but feminine in the same time. It is amazing how an outfit can make you feel more confident. That's what happened to me; this suit made me feel more confident. I got the so many compliments every time I wore it and I rocked all the interviews. I got the internship I wanted and everything worked out.

Of course I have worn this suit several times, not just on interviews. It is great for any formal occasions.

Let me know what you think about this suit and when would you wear it?

The Tartan Bag & What She wears Link up - Pop of Color Edition

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are having a great week so far.
Today I chose to talk about my favorite prints this season, TARTAN and PLAID.

Some call it Plaid, some call it Tartan. I just know that I have seen these two types of fabrics in abundance during this Fall and Winter season. And I am sure we will see them even more in the months to come. But what is the difference between tartan and plaid? Internet comes handy and  a little research informed me that the correct way to call the pattern of the bag and shoes that I am wearing in these pictures, is tartan not plaid.

Here is a little explanation I found helpful.

Tartan is a criss cross cloth of horizontal and vertical lines that are in different colors. On the other hand a plaid is a pleated cloth that is put together with a kilt.
Tartans and plaids are historically associated with Scottish clans, particularly the Highlanders during the medieval period. While the terms "tartan" and "plaid" are interchangeable as fabric names in modern times, tartans signify a Scottish family's clan, while plaids are now considered "blankets" or "cloaks" in Scotland that are worn as kilts.

In the United States, the word plaid is a generic word that describes checked patterns of all kinds. Here in the States, we generally use “plaid” to describe pretty much any such pattern, and “tartan” to describe a pattern with a specific Scottish symbolic meaning.

I am sure that even if we use these terms incorrectly, won't be the end of the world, but I found this little explanation interesting.
I hope you did too.
Have you been a lot into tartan and plaids this season? and How have you styled it?
Let me know!

Monday Happy Monday: What I Wore to Work

I hope you all had a great weekend! I sure enjoyed my last weekend before school starts. This will be my last semester so I am excited but in the same time I know it's going to be a super busy semester trying to manage school, work and other commitments I have! Among other things, I am thankful for this blog because it is going to be my getaway from the day to day life.
Thank you for all your lovely comments and support! It definitely means a lot to me.

Here is What I Wore to Work today!
I don't really like Mondays especially after a long break, so I needed to bright up my day in some other way. Thus the bright pink shirt!
Also have I told you about my new favorite Forever 21 boots? I got them for Christmas and I have been wearing them pretty much every day! They are very comfy and look great with any outfit. You will see them a lot more in my future posts.

Well, I wish you all a fab Monday!
