Monday A bouquet of happiness

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and I hope you have an amazing week ahead.

I believe I have mentioned to you how much I love sunflowers. There's something about them that make me smile and according to me, smiles=happiness. I picked these flowers while visiting Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. It was my first time there and I was in absolute heaven when I saw all those beautiful flower arrangements in every corner of the market. The hardest part was picking one. Just take a look at these arrangements; I wanted to bring all of them home with me. Since I have the hardest time deciding, with some help from the hubs, I picked the one pictured in my photos. I thought it was a great summery arrangement, so colorful and bright. Also the outfit I was wearing was perfect for a day at the market. I felt comfy and stylish the whole time. Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great week so far. During this past week, I have been doing all sorts of things, except what I should be doing: studying. And the "so loved" finals are starting next week. Well I have spent most of my time daydreaming and planning my graduation day and few post-graduation fun trips etc. I can't believe that exactly two weeks from now I will be walking at my graduation ceremony! It's safe to say that I have been looking forward to this day for a very long time; maybe since the school started?! Anyways, I am really excited that I am finally going to close this chapter of my life and start a new one. I have definitely learned and grown a lot these past three and half years and have made some great memories.

To escape homeworks even more, yesterday I decided to go to Provo Fashion Week and I had such a great time! The show was great and the collections were even better. Every designer had very unique style. Some designers had a very high couture and sophisticated style and others had a very modern and avant garde one. At first I didn't know what to wear. I wanted to wear something that would fit the occasion, something fashionable that would make me stand out and I immediately thought of this little gold dress. This is another of my mom's collection and I absolutely love it. I also had the perfect little, gold accessories to go with it  such as this golden link bracelet from Loopsway. Isn't it so lovely. I have been looking for a link bracelet like this one for a while and finally I have it. I will definitely wear this very often because it goes well with different outfits. It's a must have piece of jewelry.

I hope your week is going great! The long weekend was great but I am already looking forward it the coming weekend. As you have probably noticed by now, I love skirts. I can wear them everyday! And in particularly I love this skirt because it is not just comfy, but  its beautiful aztec print makes you stand out from the crowd.

Thursday Pencil Skirt Love

Also the material hugs your body perfectly! I decided to wear it with a dark blue button up shirt so the colors of the skirt would stand out. I thought it was a nice little match! What do you think?

Friday The Story of the Birthday Dress

Since I was a little girl, I used to get really excited about my birthday. Even though my birthday is in the middle of winter, still the love I get from family and friends makes it as bright and warm as a summer day. Over these years, my birthday day meant getting together with family and friends, eating a lot of delicious food, laughing over past memories, taking a lot of pictures, dancing & singing {especially when my aunts arrive, that's when all the dancing and singing starts}. A special tradition for my birthday was wearing a new dress made by my mom. Even though I am 6000 miles apart from my family, these traditions still continue! Yes, today is my birthday and is going to be the best birthday yet! I get to have two birthday celebrations; one in Albania and one in Utah. My mom makes me blow my candles over Skype as well. It's so much fun!

This lovely dress made by my wonderful mom, is my new birthday dress this year. This dress got my heart immediately! I love it!

Tuesday Lace and Gold

Have I told you that I love lace? Well, lace is one of my favorite fabrics. I think it's so feminine and delicate. It's perfect for evening wear and special occasions. This is an outfit I wore on a date recently. I love to dress up when I go on dates with my husband. Since we are both studying Finance, I get to be in the same classes with him. And so he sees me mostly in jeans, sweaters and flats. So I love to dress up whenever we go out. I make him dress up a little too. Why not, right?

Wednesday Black and White Peplum Suit Featuring Golden Mimosas

So I remember telling you how my mom makes/designs wonderful clothes. Well here is another prove to her great talent. I am so excited to tell you that she just launched her first online store, Golden Mimosas. I will be collaborating with her even more and you will see several of my outfits being from Golden Mimosas! So check out this store of her new clothes line.

Let's talk about this adorable suit now! Last year I was having a lot of job/internship interviews and of course I wanted to look professional but all the suits in the market were so dull! I couldn't find a suit that would make me excited to wear! As I was talking to my mom about this, she showed me this fabric and told me she had something in mind that I would love. I totally trusted her and let her work her magic. When the suit was ready, she sent it to me and I absolutely loved it. It was exactly how I wanted it. It looked professional, but feminine in the same time. It is amazing how an outfit can make you feel more confident. That's what happened to me; this suit made me feel more confident. I got the so many compliments every time I wore it and I rocked all the interviews. I got the internship I wanted and everything worked out.

Of course I have worn this suit several times, not just on interviews. It is great for any formal occasions.
