Monday Mother's Day Outfit Idea- Part I + a Giveaway

Hi dear friends,

I hope you are had a great weekend and have an even better week planned ahead.
Weekend seem to always be in a hurry and leaves us way too fast. This weekend, my husband and I had a full agenda, but we managed to take a same day trip up north{we are currently living in the greater Seattle area}. We were told that there is a beautiful bridge called Deception Pass that we must visit. And so we did. It was a great little trip and to my surprise, Aria slept like an angel. The scenery was gorgeous and we had so much fun exploring new areas.

Another fun part about this weekend was watching Aria roll over and blow raspberries as though she's been doing that forever. She is so full of personality and my heart grows a little bigger every time I see her. She started to roll over this past week. I usually place her on a play mat on her back, while I do things around the apartment. And one day, when I came back to check on her, I found her on her tummy doing what I call "push ups". So I put her on her back again and she immediately rolled over. I couldn't wait for my husband to see that! So through out this weekend Aria has been mastering the art of rolling over, while we have been mastering the art of cheering!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I am so excited to celebrate my first Mother's Day this year. It's surely going to be a special one. Through out this week I will be posting different outfit ideas for Mother's Day . So this is my first look and one of my favorites. Aria and I are wearing matching skirts and that's why I love it so much. Lately, I haven't had much time to curl or straighten my hair, so natural hair and braids have been on repeat. You will probably notice that in all my Mother's day looks, I have either natural curls or braids because I wanted to keep it as real as possible. As a mom, our time is limited and sometimes make up and hair are done while bouncing a baby in one arm. So here is to keeping it real and simple.

Also in celebration of Mother's day, 7 other great bloggers and I are giving away a  Deluxe Lush Gift Basket with a total product value of over $160.
