Friday 5 Fall 2014 trends to follow this season + affordable alternatives

NY and London Fashion Weeks 2014 just ended and even though we got so much inspiration for Spring/Summer 2015, it's about time to look back to the Fall 2014 Runways and remind ourselves some of the fall trends this season.

Looking again through the different designers' fall collections, I had mixed feelings! Yes, most of the shows were amazing, yet I couldn't help but think of how there was no way I could afford those. So I decided to look for inspiration rather than think of the price tag. Today I decided to share with you 5 suggestions of what you 'must have' in your wardrobe this season. And the good news is that they won't drain your bank account cos everything I have chosen is under $50.

1. Faux Fur

Fall 2014 will still make a show of Faux Fur, but this time they will be even more colorful! Ralph Lauren's Fall 2014 collection was just perfect with all the romantic colors and lines. One of the things that caught my eye was this pink blush fur coat. I loved it. Again my affordable but not less adorable suggestion comes from Forever 21 and it's only $45.

2. FRINGE

Micheal Kors Fall collection was one of my favorite, one of the reasons being the Fringe trend that he is bringing back! I will definitely get my fringe going on my Fall outfits. My affordable suggestion comes from Parfois and it's only $40.

3. Ombre

Remember the ombre hair trend? Well now is ombre everything, even sweaters. Micheal Kors is the one inspiring this fun looking trend. My ombre sweater suggestion comes from Daily Look for $35.

4. Capes

Tadashi Shoji and some other designers brought beautiful capes to their shows. I love capes because I feel so feminine and sophisticated when I wear one. Here is my Forever 21 affordable and classy suggestion costing $33.

 5. Turtlenecks

Turtlenecks are back on trend! Most of the designers incorporated some kind of turtlenecks on their runways, Ralph Lauren being one of them. I think it's time to bring out those turtleneck sweaters that I have and maybe buy some more. Forever 21 has some very nice and comfy turtlenecks in different colors only for $15.
